Maybe it doesn't count 1 as a brother because if you cut it in half it's just 1 and 1, which together would only equal 2, and I don't really know, just guessing. . .

I'm still trying to figure out the last one...nothing I come up with fits all of the riddle!

Definitely number based though.

Two cars were involved in an accident in the center of town. The man who was driving a little green car had overtaken a big black car. The driver had misjudged the distance between him and the oncoming traffic and had to swerve back in, causing the black car to swerve and crash into a shop window. When the occupants of the cars were examined, everyone in the green car was okay, but in the black car was one man dead.

The driver of the green car was not charged with manslaughter. Why?

Black car was a funeral car. Tough. But not tough enough!

You will always find me in the past. I can be created in the present but the future can never taint me.

What am I?

Yep yep. We traveled the sea far and wide. At one time, two of my sailors were standing on opposite sides of the ship. One was looking west and the other one east yet, at the same time, they could see each other clearly. How can that be possible?

Correcto.

I have keys but no locks. I have a space but no room. You can enter but can't go outside. What am I?

Yep! Though Ero pointed out it does have locks (number lock, caps lock, etc)

A very famous chemist was found murdered in his kitchen today. The police have narrowed it down to six suspects. They know it was a two man job.

Suspect names: Felipe, Maxwell, Archibald, Nicholas, Jordan, and Xavier.

A note was also found with the body: '26-3-58/28-27-57-16'.

Who are the killers?

That's a very good point...good thing I didn't think of it or I'd never have gotten the answer!

I like this new one; although I can't come up with anything solid for an answer. At least, not yet.

Well I first thought atomic numbers, but uhh, 58 gave me ce, so I dunno. Actually I couldn't find any element that matched "Pe."

Fe - Li - Ce

Ni - Co - La - S

Sorry, I didn't double check the riddle, I just stole it. Anywho, correct!

What loses its head in the morning and gets it back at night?

Darn I didn't think of the atomic numbers! How clever.

As for this one, I'm pretty sure the answer is a Pillow.

Yessss

You are suffering from fever and a cold. Your mother gives you 4 identical tablets- 2 for fever and 2 for cold. Now by no means can you identify which tablet serves which purpose. You have to take 1 tablet for fever and 1 tablet for cold to cure your condition. Taking too much of one will OD you. What will you do?
