Screenshot for DayDreamer. If I am asleep by then you, Timey and DG can start planning your actions / rolling for them. I'll tell you the results when I wake up and you can make a post then.

I think I'll just use Run to take cover behind the wall on the left, at the corner. 5 squares up then 4 squares left. Can/Do I roll a stealth check to see if I can hide there? If so I'll get to that later, here's the gist of my post for now:

Solitude could only grit his teeth as his poor Initiative roll left him going last. He watched his allies move and enemies strike, and fall, only for himself to be unable to dodge the javelin that came his way. It carved a notch out of his side as it grazed it, and while he felt the pain, he knew, after overcoming the instinctive reaction, that he didn't need to hold the wound to slow the bleeding or anything.

He would have to be patient, with neither the range of the wizard or ranger, nor the durability of the warforged or cleric, he could only position himself and bide his time. He sprinted forward and got into cover behind a wall, where he could wait for enemies to draw near while keeping out of the open.

Once you're at the corner you're in cover, so you get bonuses to your defenses. You can do a Stealth check to try and Sneak on opponents and attack them while having Combat Advantage.

Good good.

Also I'll take this chance to point out 2 Combat Actions, just to make sure everyone knows, that I feel are pretty important:

SECOND WIND: STANDARD ACTION
✦ Spend a Healing Surge: Spend a healing surge to
regain hit points (see “Healing,†page 293).
✦ +2 Bonus to All Defenses: You gain a +2 bonus to
all defenses until the start of your next turn.
✦ Once per Encounter: You can use your second
wind once per encounter and can use it again after
you take a short rest or an extended rest. Some
powers (either yours or another character’s) allow
you to spend healing surges without using your
second wind.

SPEND AN ACTION POINT: FREE ACTION
✦ During Your Turn: You can spend an action point
only during your turn, but never during a surprise
round.
✦ Gain an Extra Action: You gain an extra action this
turn. You decide if the action is a standard action, a
move action, or a minor action.
✦ Once per Encounter: After you spend an action
point, you must take a short rest (page 263) before
you can spend another. (Some monsters can spend
more than 1 action point per encounter.)

So I can use an action point then shoot a total of 4 arrows using twin strike twice? xD

And if one of them misses, I can use elven accuracy...

Well then, that's quite an interesting post there.

Is there an automatic small rest between encounters or do we really have to RP these?

Unless the situation calls for something else, there is a small rest between encounters.

Yes, so usually there is a small rest but if we are ambushed or a enemy charges at us the moment we defeat a group, we won't be able to use the encounter powers because we have had no small rest.

Something like that?

Look at it this way; the moment the encounter ends you get a rest.

If I ever want to design a encounter that will be immediately followed by an ambush, that ambush will take place during the end of that encounter.

DG is the first Knight of the Surreal Twilight to get hit by a critical. Congratulations!

Not only that, I got hit by a critical on the first shot of the first enemy in the first fight, ever.

I almost feel blessed...

On my next turn I could zap the Cutter and the Sharpshooter... Or engulf Wahad in flames. Choices, choices.

We were talking about you/us focusing on the warriors since Wahad can't reach those. He'll be able to deal with sharpshooter and cutter.

Target intimidated into surrendering.

I think that goblin will wish he had fought to the death, after DG is through "having a chat" with him in his house.
