I decided I couldn't live without any regrets unless I aped that glorious pose.

Now it might look like another gratuitous Satsuki picture, but I swear there's a connection.

They gotta find out who killed their imoutos

Fire God Vargas from Brave Frontier

I have this hunch that this dude's supposed to look like 'Generic Anime Pretty-Boy #32' and not The Second Coming of Manface, but who cares.

Please ignore how Hexagrammaton varies in size; the longer version looks a bit better to me and I'm sticking with that.

I just slapped a shadow on digitally. I really should do that more often.

Huh. Looks good, I couldn't tell it's digital.

Thought you painstakingly shaded and smudged his entire armor.

Actually, the armor's shaded by pencil. Only the shadow's digital.

So you're mostly right.

Really, I liked the shading on Indra more, since I had an appalling lack of subtlety when working on Siegfried. Basically just shaded all over everything until my pencil got blunt.

the shading on Fred looked particularly smooth and soft though.

or maybe i'm just mega biased towards dark armors

Frederick used to have a cape until his old partner died in a cape in turbine related incident.

No Aesir of Siegfried's generation can have a cape since they all basically use jet turbines for zero-G movement~

Just take a look at Indra's Muv-Luv ripoff design

The latest generation, like Freyja and Valkyrie, should be able to if they were feeling suicidal, since they probably have anti-gravity incorporated into their designs.

Could he not just have a cape that he only uses when striking a heroic pose?

MIDGARD INSTITUTE FOR MILITARY INNOVATION AND RESEARCH

12/12/107

SECURITY CLASSIFICATION: SECRET

PROPOSAL TO INSTALL RETRACTABLE CLOTH RECTANGLE UPON SHOULDER PLATING OF AS-35 STAHL SIEGFRIED

PROPOSAL STATUS: <Rejected>

With all due respect, Dr. Ragnor, you were one of the most valuable members of my R&D department, and we of MIMIR greatly value your past contributions. However, what we cannot overlook is your recent preposterous proposal for an "upgrade" to the venerable Stahl Siegfried combat exoskeleton.

Not only does the cape increase the RCS and noise level of the Aesir in movement by up to a factor of two and present a tripping and tangling hazard in adverse and zero-G environments, this so-called "improvement" offers no discernible advantage to the unfortunate Aesir it is installed on -- instead , its bright red coloration merely makes it a larger target, and has little additional psychological impact in comparison to an unadorned Aesir. In addition, the additional mechanisms required to safely stow and unfurl this "badass looking cape" in due time will incur an additional $2,775.30 of maintenance expenses per annum, an unacceptable price even for our organization.

I'm sorry, Dr. Ragnor, but it is evident that your vaunted human 'ingenuity' has been stripped from you by senility. You are hereby dismissed from your appointment. Please report to Vanaheim Thermo-salvage Reactor #4 at 0700 tomorrow for your molecular reassignment. Please queue at the RED line.
