Robot Battle Royale [tournament complete]

95 posts in this topic

I'm just gonna pretend I don't know any of you and start randomly blasting everyone else.

... Maybe we should have collectively decided on robot sizes. Gratuitous Mansex easily outweighs Little Kayke by something around 350,000 times.

( It's pretty obvious Gratuitous Mansex is mine, every one should go ahead and target this bot )

"'Pick on someone your own size,' they say. Which is why Little Kayke attacked Barkbot! Kayke denounces the violent nature of this game and calls for a summit on the Rights of Artificial Intelligence to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness!"

What I was surprised with was that Mr Scrawny McScrawnmeister actually has a really high defense score. And an equally high dodge, it seems.

Think he's got piddly weapons though.

I guess he's hoping to outlast us.

(and the unassuming little cake bot that's slowly but surely sapping away that poor pup's lifeforce)

Did anyone forget to submit targets for round three?

I need some fictional robot carnage to distract myself from boring life chores .

The struggle is real.

Hoho, I'm not dead yet.

Before I die next turn I shall reveal some of my findings, so you guys will know what you're up against.

Mansex has an Attack of 4 and a Defense of 3.

Scrawny has a Defense of 6.

Barkbot has a Dodge higher than 4.

I'll post my stats here too, so when I blow the next person up this turn you guys can make your own conclusions:

Attack: 1 + 9 = 10

(Damage on a successful hit)

Aim: 1 + 3 = 4

(Increases chance to hit)

Defense: 2 = 2

(deducted from the attack damage of an enemy on hit - cannot reduce damage lower than 1)

Are we even allowed to reveal numbers?

Welp

Not that I mind the extra knowledge

Good thing I didn't bother with attack. Looks like this is a pretty defensive arena. All you tanks with your high Def can watch Little Kayke take you out with a sauce-pan! *clang*

You guys really went and built nothing but turtlebots.

Spending those 3 points into defence seems kinda wasted now...

Stats were hidden so you guys couldn't all hit the weakest first or such. You're free to reveal your own, or deduce others'.

Also dodge has a chance element so even if you maxed it, maybe Octy would've got lucky and one-shot you in the first round.

ROUND 4 RESULT

The coverage from the arena floor has now come through. Excellent, this was a carnage-filled round.

BarkBot, Gratuitous Mansex, and Scrawny McSquishy ALL attacking Dunkmaster, for 1, 2, and 1 damage respectively. The first hit was enough...

Dunkmaster exploded!

Then Dunkmaster's exploded pieces were crushed!

Then Dunkmaster's pancaked remains were disintegrated!

Little Kayke hit BarkBot for 1 damage!

ROUND 5

All remaining Robots report to the arena once again. Good luck, and remember, you only need to destroy a robot once. It'd be nice to have some scraps to recycle.

(also bonus info: Dunkmaster actually attacked and destroyed Little Kayke, but I forgot to take into account Speed. BarkBot destroyed Dunkmaster before Dunkmaster got to move. So basically BarkBot saved Kayke's ass)
